Escape from the heat in Central Park, New York

(Backlog of USA-Canada holiday articles)It was extremely hot when we were in New York, around 38° Celsius in the shadow. Luckily we don't feel uncomfortable in such weather conditions. The pond you see below was full with turtles. Many people went for a walk in Central Park, look for some shadow, sunbathing, or take the kids to the carnival fair. We were on our way via the park to the New York opera building and fountain.
